The Big Easy EasySep™ Magnet

The Big Easy EasySep™ Magnet generates a high-gradient magnetic field that is powerful enough to process samples in a standard 14 mL polystyrene tube, without the use of columns. Easy 50 EasySep™ Magnet

The Easy 50 EasySep™ Magnet is uniquely designed for portable large-volume cell separation. Easy 50 processes samples in a standard 50 mL tube containing as many as 4 x 109 cells, and can thus isolate cells from leukapheresis samples without density centrifugation (video).

EasyPlate EasySep™ Magnet

The 96-well EasyPlate EasySep™ Magnet enables high-throughput cell separation from small volumes. Simultaneously process multiple samples of up to 2 x 107 mouse cells per well or 1 x 107 human cells per well.

How EasySep™ Works

EasySep™ uses Tetrameric Antibody Complexes (TAC) and dextran-coated magnetic particles to select or deplete cells of interest. The TACs crosslink cells expressing specific surface antigens to the magnetic particles. When the sample is placed in an EasySep™ magnet, crosslinked cells are pulled to the sides of the magnet. Any remaining untouched cells can then be smoothly poured off, resulting in two distinct cell fractions. Both fractions are immediately available for downstream analysis.
